I love using Google to see if anyone is saying anything about me. Today I found this article from Trinity College about the Georgia “E-Word” controvercy.

I remember emailing Kathy Cox a few years ago, hours after the evolution story broke. I got an automatic rejection because her inbox was full to the brim.

I felt some kind of connection, though, because I lived in Valdosta for a few years. Long enough to pick up the accent, apparently, because family members curiously said I sounded like Doc Holliday in some movie.

“Let’s not try to go backward with regard to evolution. Let’s move forward with the cause of demonstrating, scientifically, that life flows naturally from the ultimate designer.” Yeah, you and Casey go ahead and do that, Timmy. Let me know how it goes. I’ll be in the lab doing other things.
