Last night Tiffany and I came home to a copperhead snake sitting outside our front door. (She has the story and pictures.) This morning I wake up to find the PZ has posted about the evolution of fangs, with more discussion in the comments about the evolution of venom.
I think the PZ and the serpent were conspiring against me!
